The goal of this project was to update the logo of Lyon’s Musée des Tissus and define the visual atmosphere for its latest exhibition: "L’art du motif" (art of the pattern).

To begin, I designed the museum’s logo while considering the existing graphical context of museum logos. I aimed for something simple, appealing, yet subtly academic.

For the exposition’s universe, I felt the need to create a contrast with the logo. I wanted to craft something visually rich and intriguing, perfectly emphasizing the deep cultural history of patterns around the world.

To achieve this, I drew inspiration from museum archives, artifact record sheets, and other documentation found within the realm of cultural heritage studies.
